Words of the Day!

Hello and Happy Friday!!! 😎

And since it's Friday, I've got three 'Fri-' words of the day!!! 😁😁

Here they are:

1. Frippery
2. Frisk
3. Frivolous

Frippery (n) = unnecessary showy ornament, especially on clothing.

e.g.  The frippery of her jacket made a bad impression on everyone at the meeting.

Frisk (v) = to pat someone down (pass hands over someone) in search for hidden weapons, drugs etc.

e.g. Everyone was frisked before leaving the airport.

Frivolous (adj) = not sensible or serious (for people) / silly or wasteful (for activities or things)

e.g. At 35, he's still rather frivolous with his money.
After filing a frivolous lawsuit, his peers no longer trusted the young lawyer's judgement.

Have a great Friday and an even better weekend! 😄😄😊😊
