It's another WORD WARS day!
Today's war is between Possible and Probable
So, what's the difference??
Possible (adj) = could happen, might happen, something that can be done. There's a possibility it will happen because of reason.
example: Where's my key? It's possible that I forgot it at home or maybe in my other bag...
Probable (adj) = very likely to happen, something that is expected to happen. The probability of it happening is high.
example: Do you think it's probable that we'll get our results today? If the teacher is back from her time off, I'd say 'probably'!
Have a great day everybody!!
The probability shows that you possibly will!! :) :)
