Hi Everybody!!
Hope you're all well and enjoying summer!
So... today's Words of the Day are:
frank
frantic
fraud
1. frank (adj) = honest, plain and blunt.
for example:
"To be frank, I didn't really like her at all!!!"
2. frantic (adj) = in an extreme state of emotion (especially fear or anxiety) / hurried and disorganized.
for example:
The mother was frantic when she couldn't find her child in the playground.
She frantically looked for her keys, as she was already late.
3. fraud (n) = the act of deceiving someone illegally in order to make money or obtain goods / a person who deceives, impostor.
for example:
Thousands of frauds are committed every day that we don't know about.
Mike Ross is a fraud and now he's in prison serving time.
Hope you learnt (also learned) something new!
Have a great day! :) :)
